Indeed, it's not Bali, it's not Thailand, and it's not Palawan. It's Mataas Cove!

Mataas Cove is located at Barangay Mataas, Cagraray Island, Bacacay Albay.

PS:

Access road is partially reconstructed so pwede na 4-wheel cars. Just be careful esp kapag maulan since the road is not yet concreted.

We urge the LGU of Lgu Bacacay Albay to look into developing the access road of the place.

Awwww! This is something alarming.

We saw this post by one of the residents of the island expressing her concern about the trash left somewhere by the shore.

We appeal to the tourists / public visiting the place to properly throw your garbages into designated trash bins. If no trash bins available, please bring back the trash with you as you go home.

Maari lamang po na maging responsible tourists tayo. Let's protect the natural beauty of the island.

We wish to advise the public that the road going to Mataas Cove is not passable by a four-wheel car. Alternatively, you may opt to use the following options to visit the place:

(1) motorcycle - should be used with extra caution as the damaged road poses high risk.

(2) bangka from Sula pier or Pili port. You may rent a bangka from those ports and ask the crews to bring you to Mataas Cove. Bangka ride from Sula pier is only about 10 mins.
