Our Story

You are staying at a house built in the 1950s for sugar planter Raymundo L. Dizon of Pampanga and Hermilinda V. Ramos-Dizon. This was home to them and their children Rodolfo Dizon (married to Milagros Montinola), former Bacolod City Mayor and National Housing Authority Chairman Raymundo Dizon Jr (married to Susan Bautista), Hermilinda Dizon-Bantug (married to Abelardo Bantug), former Commission on Higher Education Chairman and De La Salle University President Bro. Rolando Dizon, FSC and Josefa Dizon-Alunan (married to former Congressman and Bacolod City Mayor Monico Puentevella). The house was converted to a Bed and Breakfast in 2017 by the third generation retaining the family’s art collection combined with modern interior. It is currently operating with 14 rooms. The house next door to the left is the ancestral house of Don Mariano Ramos and Dona Josefa Villanueva, Hermilinda’s parents, which is still a private residence. You are actually right at the center of the city. Burgos Street is one of Bacolod’s main highways leading you to SM City Bacolod and Bredco Port (less than 2km).
