Our Story: A Family Labor of Love 👨👩👧👦
Built in 2020 during the pandemic, Ba-ey Tako (a native term for "Our Home") was originally designed as a private family retreat—a wide-open space for us to find peace.
In 2022, thanks to the encouragement of our friend Ruth Balonglong, we hosted our very first guests: Ms. Rosemarie Camacam and a group of teachers from Isabela. Back then, we had no beds, no partitions, and no curtains—just mattresses on the floor in a shared open hall. Seeing them find rest in our home changed our hearts.
Though we were hesitant at first to share our private space, our family eventually agreed to open our doors. Today, we have no employees—my husband, our children, and I personally clean the house, set the beddings, and maintain every corner to ensure you feel the warmth of a true home.
