TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, DWELL on these things."
(Philippians 4:8, NASB)

REFLECTION:
Do I dwell on the POSITIVE things that God commanded me to live rather than the negative?

Do I focus and follow what is TRUE rather than what is not?

Am I intentional about filling my mind with the good, pure, and valuable truth about God?

ACTION POINT:
For me to experience peace and joy through the power of God, I will focus on the positive and eternal things.

I will not be a negative thinker who grumbles and complains, but a Godly thinker who infuses life into people and circumstances.

I will stand for that which is pure, and not submit to that which is not. I will always choose the good, enjoy the beautiful, pursue the noble, and enter in the comfort of God's peace.

JESUS is the Way! I shall not live outside His ways but instead I will follow, walking and living only in the path of His commands.

Whatever is true, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is light...I will FOLLOW the Way everlasting and will NEVER, EVER STOP!

Truly You are so ever faithful oh God🙏

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

”...You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been FULFILLED; not one has failed.”
(Joshua 23:14, NIV)

REFLECTION:
Do I still doubt God's promises?

Has there been at least one promise from God that He has failed to fulfill?

Is His Word like the word of men, that which cannot be trusted and depended upon?

ACTION POINT:
God has remained faithful and just throughout all the generations, for He keeps all His promises -- He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

God is “not man” that He should fail, and His Word is not like man's word that cannot be relied upon. His Word is true and He never changes.

He is the unchanging and unchangeable God Who remains true to His Word in spite of my faithless, foolish, and ungodly ways.

I will take comfort, trust, and confidence in the fact that God always fulfills His Word. Not one of the good words that He has spoken has ever failed nor can they ever fail -- His promises are sure, and He is tested and true.

I will depend in God's Word, knowing that He is faithful and will keep all the promises He has made to those who believe in Him. The Word of the LORD stands FIRM... for EVER AND EVER!

You are more than enough for me
Lord Jesus ❤️

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

"I have learned to be CONTENT in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity"
(Philippians 4:11-12, NASB)

REFLECTION:
How am I in the area of contentment?

Do I compare with others and crave for more power or wealth?

Do I focus on what I don't have rather than on what I do have?

ACTION POINT:
Rather than pursue material things, I shall seek only the Lord and His kingdom, and understand what it means to be contented. I will therefore "be centered on Christ", knowing that I can do all things through Him who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).

I will COUNT my blessings, always be appreciative and look at the bright side in every situation, and have confidence in God's promises, for He is all-sufficient and promises to supply all my needs according to His riches (Philippians 4:19-20).

I will be grateful for the things I have, rather than grumbling about the things I lack. Whether with humble means or in prosperity, I will be grateful to the Lord. Indeed, He is more than sufficient.

I shall be at peace, always rested and satisfied in Him for I know He is sovereign, He cares for me, and He has my best interest. Whatever my circumstances, I will rejoice in the Lord and practice CONTENTMENT!

You must increase Lord Jesus
And I must decreased.

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

“Everyone who is PROUD in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Assuredly, he will not be unpunished.”
(Proverbs 16:5, NASB)

REFLECTION:
Who do I put in the center of my life? Do I seek glory for myself rather than for the LORD?

Do I have sinful pride and an arrogant heart?

In the face of God, do I really have something to be proud of?

ACTION POINT:
By being “proud”, I elevate my own heart, mind, will, and desires, higher than the Lord.

But without God, I have nothing and am nothing -- everything I need and want all come from Him. Even my very life was given by Him.

As I grow spiritually, I shall diminish my pride and increase my humility. “I will humble myself in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift me up." (James 4:10)

Now that JESUS is my Lord and King and because I love Him, I will surrender to Him every single form of selfishness, arrogance, and pride that I have, and start making JESUS the very CENTER and utmost priority in my life.

Because it's not about me... it's ALL ABOUT JESUS!

Truly You are an awesome God🙏
I am forever grateful

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
(Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

REFLECTION:
How do I demonstrate my trust in God's sovereignty?

What do I do when I don't get what I want?

What can I do to represent JESUS properly especially in my time of disappointments?

ACTION POINT:
Disappointments are inevitable. Especially when we focus on what we selfishly want, whether in relationships, career, family life, or even in our government, we are bound to get disappointed because things don't always go the way we want them to.

So in moments of difficulty and disappointment, I will not be SELF-centered. Instead, I will maintain a GOD-centered perspective and recognize that God is sovereign as I continue to rest in His plan.

No matter what I am going through, I will remember that God is in control and He knows what is best for me. Therefore I will trust in His power and respond to any situation in a manner that will bring Him honor and glory.

God alone can provide amazing hope, joy, and peace. I shall lift everything up to Him, rest in His promises, and trust that He knows the plans that He has for me.

God's way is the best way. I will surrender everything to Him and practice a GOD-CENTERED PERSPECTIVE and ATTITUDE!

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

“By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭7‬, NASB)

REFLECTION:
How is God calling my attention or warning me on any aspect of my life?

How is my walk with the Lord today? In what way can I grow?

What has the Lord done in my life that is worth sharing? Who do I need to witness about God to this week?

ACTION POINT:
In the story of Noah, we see how he found favor in God’s eyes because of his righteousness and faithfulness, in contrast to the wicked ways of the world during his time.

So just like Noah, I too will GO AGAINST THE FLOW and:
- heed any Warning from God,
- Walk with God,
- Work with God,
- and Witness about God.

Because God loves me, He shall warn me whenever I am caught up in sin. So when I find myself in such a situation, I will heed His Warnings and will choose to Walk with Him by spending time with Him daily and allowing Him to transform me and fill me with His grace.

And just like how Noah faithfully obeyed when God instructed him to build an ark, I shall Work with God even when He gives commands that are beyond my understanding. I will obey because I trust in His plans, and so that I can live a life that honors Him, draws others to Him, and is a Witness of His goodness.

Trusting that He will sustain me, strengthen me, and keep His promises, just like Noah, I shall obey by faith and GO AGAINST THE FLOW!

Blessed sunday morning everyone 🙏

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

"Dear children, keep yourselves from IDOLS."
(1 John 5:21, NIV)

REFLECTION:
Is there anyone or anything that I worship and give more priority than Christ?

What are the THINGS that bring me enjoyment but push God farther from my heart?

Who are the PEOPLE whom I love too much that make God only 2nd place in my heart?

ACTION POINT:
Idols could mean both physical images people worship, or anything and anyone that comes as higher priority than the Lord JESUS Christ.

I will not be guilty of idolatry. Instead, I will remove any image in my mind that snatches the love and attention I have for JESUS.

I will be careful so that even the "blessings" I receive and the "people" whom I love will NOT make God a lesser priority or passion.

In my life, I will remind myself that ONLY Christ is to be served. I will always put JESUS...FIRST!

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord JESUS Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living HOPE through the resurrection of JESUS Christ from the dead."
(1 Peter 1:3, NIV)

REFLECTION:
What is the difference between biblical hope and secular hope?

How can I develop living hope?

How should living hope impact my life?

ACTION POINT:
When faced with trials and problems, our natural response is to withdraw and run away, often due to discouragement, depression, or hopelessness. But the Bible mentions "hope" 175 times and teaches us that even in tough situations, we are to live in HOPE!

This hope that the Bible speaks about is not like secular hope, which is empty optimism or wishful thinking for something that might not happen. Rather, Biblical Hope is hope anchored on something guaranteed -- on the certainty that one day, JESUS will come again and bring us our inheritance.

I shall apply this mindset so that I can navigate through hard times with a better perspective. With Biblical Hope, I will reframe my mind and view my earthly problems as nothing compared to the amazing future that I have in JESUS Christ.

Thank You, JESUS, for being my Living Hope. I have faith in Your promises of salvation and future glory. So in tough times, I will LIVE IN HOPE with joy!

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

"...I am the LORD, who heals you."
(Exodus 15:26, NIV)

REFLECTION:
When it comes to my physical health and healing, in whom or where do I rely and trust?

Do I depend on expensive medicines, a reputable hospital, and a specialized doctor?

OR, do I put my full trust on our Lord JESUS Christ, the Healer and Savior?

ACTION POINT:
It’s true that God often heals the physical wounds, the earthly illnesses and diseases that trouble my mortal body, but often times He whispers into my heart, ”My grace is sufficient, for My strength is made perfect in your weakness, in your sickness, in your hardship - in your loss and your pain.”

The truth is that God’s healing touch is not only physical but also spans the eternal and the spiritual realm.

Yes, bad news regarding health issues may come, but I won't despair. I will look to JESUS and expect healing for my body, for He is the greatest Physician and my Jehovah Rapha.

Not my expensive medicines nor the reputable hospital nor the expert doctor BUT JESUS has the FINAL SAY to my physical healing. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. JESUS is STILL the Lord who heals me.

Healing is my RIGHT because JESUS has "paid the price" for it. His grace is sufficient, and “By His wounds I am healed”(Isaiah 53:5). I am HEALED... in JESUS' Name!

Lord Jesus thank you so much for your Loving-kindness ❤️

TWO MINUTE DAILY SPIRITUAL DEVOTION

"Therefore, there is now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ JESUS."
(Romans 8:1, NIV)

REFLECTION:
Prior to having a personal relationship with Christ, were there times when I feared condemnation?

Was I ever scared of being accused, shamed, or guilty everytime I committed sin?

Now, do I still fear condemnation? Do I still fear being accused by Satan (the accuser of the brethren)?

ACTION POINT:
Condemnation comes not from God, but from Satan. He condemns us in front of God, as he does with our brethren ("he accuses them before our God day and night” Revelation 12:10).

I will remind myself that sinners like me deserve condemnation, but because I am now in Christ JESUS, I am no longer condemned.

As a Christian, I must acknowledge that my justification is found in Christ ALONE — in His finished work on the cross — and NOT in what I do or don’t do (Romans 3:28).

I need to be more "SON-conscious" rather than "sin-conscious" for I know that I am redeemed and forgiven because of JESUS' BLOOD.

God has forgiven my past, present and future sins once and for all, and now I am declared NOT GUILTY and FREE from all condemnation and from the deception of the devil.

JESUS loves me unconditionally and He condemns me not, for He is my Defender and my “Advocate” (1 John 2:1)
