Me: I’m going home. Meet me at the gate! I’m bringing 3 huge boxes of xmas decors!

I just want my loved ones and family to meet me at the gate when I was gone for 3 days 😆

Wedding in the Clouds in Heaven here at Good Morning Baguio PottingShed ♥️

They wedded amidst on and off rains (3x on the day) but never faltered. All of us who love them supported them all through out the uncertain weather. They stood by their faith to hold it outdoors even if it can be done indoors. The bride walked bravely through the rain and her groom awaited with tears that rivaled the rain. And during their exchange of vows, we and most especially Josh and Marchita, were rewarded with the most awesome heavenly clouds embracing their union. They surrendered everything to God on that day and God absolutely answered in no uncertain way.

18:30 relax with lemongrass tea, feed siopao your beloved dog
19:00 cook the mussels with parsley, cream, butter. Boil and bake the unpeeled fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary
19:45 nice hearty or light dinner
21:00 clean kitchen to safeguard your mornings
21:30 soothing candlelit shower with music
22:00 warm chocolate with milk, cuddle with siopao, watch 1 or 2 episodes
23:15 lights off, phone on airplane mode. Read one page. That was a lovely night. Thank you God in advance for a restful sleep.

Roof sees through the moon and the stars
Bed views the mountains not far away
and city lights from dwellings across and down the hills that sparkle like fireflies
Birdsongs, oh nothing but birdsongs, the gentle rustle of pine leaves, and the whistling of the wind to disrupt the serene silence

Fresh, crisp and pristine air as you fly lightly and freely
The soft sunshine to soothe your soul and inspire your mornings
The calmness, steadiness and strength of the trees you can touch and lean on
And infinite energy from the sum of all things alive, simple and pure
Peace so immense, energy so boundless you won’t need and take any
Because in here, you rest, you thrive, you live🌱

The doors to your beautiful self are few but precious. If you have an old story with friends who have gone and moved on, that is a door. If you have deep grief hidden that you don’t want to open, that is also the same door where joy unexpectedly enters. The door you open to give love is the same one through which love arrives. 🍃

And if I let you into one of my doors, to see some ugly pieces, through a door not embellished with a pretty wreath, a door not adorned with a new welcome mat, pls remove your shoes, it’s sacred ground.🍃

You and I could spend hours philosophizing about life and broken dreams.

You see, I tried to find you, Joanna.

No, I’m not a stalker. I’m just a dreamer.

I did try to find you among the 1.5 million Joannas on LinkedIn and the 5 million Joannas on Facebook until I realized that you’re too good to be on those sites.
Oh yes, Airbnb Host, you are too good.

I remember the moment I stepped into your cozy, almost studio-like abode. I could smell the Ikea in there.

The wonderful mint green rocking chair that enveloped me during the evenings, was such a prominent centerpiece that I went on Ikea’s website the moment I saw it. It really completed the room.

In fact, the more I walked around, the more I realized how complete I felt in this space.

With a window overlooking the city at large, I felt at home. It gave me hope that I, too, could, in fact, downsize without missing my two master bedrooms, front and back gardens, and extra powder room that has only been used once.

It made me see that this is the life I lead in an alternate universe.

I realized we’re two peas in a pod as I touched each one of the books you give a home to in that small apartment.

I imagined myself night after night sitting in that mint green rocking chair, reading all of those wonderful books on display.

But I truly fell in love with you when I noticed exquisite orchids in your home.

How can that possibly be? Are you even human? No, Airbnb Host, you’re more than that. You get it.
You understand what life is about, and you make me want to discover what you already know.

I desperately wanted to meet you, but unfortunately, you were gallivanting in Europe, probably spending your time in someone else’s home as well, because I imagine that’s what you do.

Which is why I love you.
Airbnb Host. You’re pure culture. Pure intellect. such as myself, trying to find a place in this vast and complex world.

More complex than a white ikea plant box.

I’ll probably never get to meet you, but I want you to know how much you’ve inspired me.

You’ve inspired me to be a better version of myself, you managed to wake up a part of me that’s been dormant for the better part. Your life and home have made me stop and think about how I’m abiding by society’s rules instead of doing what makes me happy.
You’ve inspired me to go back to the root of what brings me to life.
