So when someone asks us for a transient "near Mines View," we don't send them up the mountain. We tell them the honest version: stay central first, then one jeep — about 12 minutes — and you're at Mines View.
I'm Oliver. I run Valencia VOS Baguio Transient House at 92 Valenzuela Street, a three-minute walk from SM Baguio and Session Road. It's about a minute from our gate to the jeep terminal at Zonta Park. One jeep, no transfer, ₱13–₱15 per person. Then you're at Mines View — and the same jeep passes Wright Park and The Mansion for the full loop.
Why not send you up there? After dark, jeeps get hard to catch, and the food is a ride away. The view is a 20-minute stop — but the night is where you actually stay. With us, Mines View is a day trip, and when you come home, SM, Session Road, and food at any hour are still at your door. ✨
Honest numbers too: solo from ₱700 on a weekday. Two pax with your own CR, ₱1,300; shared CR, ₱900. Family for six, ₱3,400 on weekdays, ₱3,600 on weekends. No stove — but we have a microwave. I'd rather tell you now than have you find out on arrival. And our Google rating is 3.9 stars — I don't dress it up, because the bad reviews taught us how to get better.
