𝗕𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗞 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬

Baguio City Ordinance No. 53 series of 2009 imposes a total ban at all times in the city of all kinds of firecrackers prohibited by the national law. Any person, firm, entity or corporation violating the provisions of the city ordinance will be punished according to the gravity of their offense.

The prohibited firecrackers include big triangle, rebentador (5 star), watusi, pla-pla, pillbox, mother rocket, og, firecrackers without labels, and others of similar nature. It also includes all firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices banned by the national government.

Penalties and Violations:
1st offense: Confiscation of the firecrackers and a fine of P2,000
2nd offense: Fine of P3,000 to 5,000 in the discretion of the court
3rd and subsequent offenses: Revocation of business permit and imprisonment of not more than 30 days in the discretion of the court.

Community fireworks displays will be allowed, subject to the issuance of a permit by the city government. -APR
