Really felt blessed to host this lovely couple from France who brought their guitar and shared songs wherever they went. Hearing them sing "Anak" by Freddie Aguilar was a moment that truly touched our hearts. They love learning about other cultures, and their effort to learn at least one local song in every country they visit is a beautiful reminder that music can bring people together beyond race and culture.

This is why hosting a heritage homestay is so meaningful to us—because unlike a hotel that can sometimes feel distant and impersonal, a homestay creates space for real connection, cultural exchange, and moments you carry with you long after the visit is over.

Eric first stayed with us with his family — close enough to walk to Session Road and SM Baguio, yet quiet enough to truly rest.

It worked perfectly for family time.

The following year, he returned alone — with his bigbike, different rhythm. He needed secure parking, easy access to the highways, and a place that understood riders.

It worked again.

This year, he came back for another solo ride. We rode together along Halsema Highway's treacherous turns up to Mount Olis and to (what used to be) the highest point of the Philippine Highway system in Atok, Benguet.

He originally booked 4 nights.

Then, he decided to extend to 5.

No promotion. No pressure.
Just because he wasn’t ready to leave yet.

That’s the beauty of a homestay that adapts to you —
family-friendly when you need it,
rider-ready when you want freedom,
and comfortable enough to make you stay longer than planned.

Same guest.
Different seasons of life.
Still feels like home.

Grateful to receive the Booking.com Traveller Review Awards once again 🏆✨

But beyond the award, what encourages us most is this: more travelers are choosing homes with character over commercial spaces 🏡 They’re choosing lived-in walls, family stories, wooden floors that have aged with time — not just another tourist hotel.

Every booking helps keep a heritage home standing. Maintained. Preserved. Lived in. 🪵🕰️

And to fellow homeowners quietly caring for old houses, restoring details, keeping memories alive — this recognition is proof that there is demand for what we do 🤝

Travel doesn’t always have to be standardized.
It can be personal. Intentional. Rooted. 🌿

Thank you to every guest who believes in that. ❤️

January 2026 reminded us that a home is more than walls and a roof—it’s shaped by the people who pass through it. 🌲

We’re thankful for our recent guests who came not just to stay, but to live gently in the space, respect the rhythm of the community, and share small, meaningful moments along the way. In a fast world, choosing to slow down is a gift—to yourself and to the places you visit.

Maraming salamat for being part of our little corner of Baguio. Our doors remain open, and the stories continue. 🏡🤍
