Panagbenga Flower Festival 2026 Landscape Competition Formally Opens

The landscape competition of the Panagbenga Flower Festival 2026 officially opened on February 1, transforming the Rose Garden at Burnham Park into a vibrant showcase of floral artistry, according to the Baguio Public Information Office (PIO) Channel.

The competition features an array of colorful and creative landscape designs across three categories: the Open Category, Carpet of Flowers, and Vertical Category. Participating landscapers and designers present diverse concepts using blooming flowers and ornamental plants, highlighting creativity, craftsmanship, and environmental harmony.

Residents and tourists are invited to view the floral displays at the Rose Garden from February 1 to March 8, 2026. The exhibit is expected to be one of the main visual attractions of this year’s Panagbenga celebrations, offering a refreshing and picturesque experience in the heart of the city.

THE FIRST-EVER GLASS WALKWAY IN LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET

A coming soon attraction in La Trinidad, Benguet is a glass walkway that features a transparent glass floor supported by sturdy steel frames and beams, designed to give visitors a thrilling, see-through view of the landscape below.

At the far end of the walkway rise large sculpted hands, envisioned as a symbolic and artistic centerpiece that will serve as a striking visual landmark and a popular photo spot once the project is completed.

A glass walkway attraction is a high-altitude, transparent pathway, often built along cliff edges or in scenic parks, featuring reinforced glass flooring that creates the illusion of walking on air. These structures, such as the one at Mt. Camisong Forest Park in Benguet provide panoramic views of landscapes while offering a thrilling, adrenaline-pumping experience.
