🌲 Planning a trip to Baguio? Here are some friendly reminders!
To help keep our city safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, please take time to review Baguio’s local ordinances. These guidelines protect our community, our visitors, and the spaces we all love.
✅ Smoke-Free Baguio – Use, sale, and promotion of ci******es and vapes are prohibited in all public places.
✅ Anti-Littering – Dispose of waste properly. Dumping trash in parks, streets, waterways, and public buildings is prohibited.
✅ Anti-Distracted Walking – No texting or reading while crossing pedestrian lanes or walking along sidewalks/streets.
✅ Curfew for Minors – 9:00 PM to 4:00 AM citywide.
✅ Responsible Dog Ownership – Register pets, vaccinate regularly, and ensure proper care and leashing in public.
✅ No Burning / No Bonfires – Burning of materials and open flames in public areas are not allowed.
✅ Traffic & Parking Rules – Follow the city’s transport regulations and avoid prohibited parking zones.
✅ King of the Road Ordinance – Motorists must fully stop for 5 seconds before pedestrian lanes.
✅ Silent Night Ordinance – Avoid excessive noise in residential areas and public streets.
✅ First-Come, First-Served Ordinance – Cutting lines or using force/threats to get ahead is prohibited.
✅ Coding Scheme – Follow the number-coding traffic schedule.
✅ Plastic & Styrofoam-Free Baguio – Regulates the sale and use of plastic bags and styrofoam.
