Mayor Benjamin Magalong has made it clear in his announcement that Baguio City is not on lockdown and therefore, still open to visitors.

Only government-sponsored events that would draw large crowds in the next three weeks were cancelled as a proactive response to 2019 Novel Corona Virus (2019-nCoV).
