With deep sadness and heartfelt gratitude, we remember our beloved “Ma’am Susan,” Ma. Theresa Susan Reyes Delenela, the very first Hotel Manager of Hotel Veniz Burnham, who faithfully served with us for 17 remarkable years.
More than a manager, Ma’am Susan was a trusted friend, mentor, and confidant to the Veniz family, a respected leader to her colleagues, and a gracious presence to our guests. Her WARMTH, humility, sincerity, and unwavering optimism endeared her to everyone—earning her the affectionate title “Ms. GPA,” for her Great Positive Attitude.
Behind that beautiful and welcoming smile was a woman of extraordinary courage and quiet strength. Through life’s greatest trials, she remained positive and gracious, facing them without complaint and with a dignity that inspired all who knew her.
As our first Hotel Manager, Ma’am Susan helped lay the foundations not only of Hotel Veniz, but of the culture of genuine care, warm hospitality, and service from the heart that we continue to uphold today.
Ma’am Susan will forever be part of the Hotel Veniz story—one of OUR PEOPLE, and forever one of the unforgettable souls Behind the WARMTH.
