Baler is one of the surfing spot in the Philippines. People come to experience a not so huge wave, water is warm and the beach is bit crowded esp on weekends. Try to visit on weekdays be amaze how good the local surfers are.

If you would like to witness sunrise better to wake up around 5 in the morning also nice to do brisk walking or jogging....

Oreo's Cheap Homestay!
budget friendly homestay. A 2-storey house with 2 rooms. Located in a family compound "Espina Compound". Sabang beach is just 10-minute walk and other establishments like Costa Pacifica, Dialyn's bakeshop, Baler plaza, museum de baler, atm machines, Rolling Store and other. sari-sari stores available nearby and theres a restaurant outside the compound. Also, Tricycle Terminal is just outside the compound. We also offers tour guide and surfing lesson with free use of rush guard. Reference point is Tesda-Baler near Duongan River.
How to get there? From the bus terminal, ride in a tricycle and drop before Tesda and will meet you in person. Or contact me on 09497552908 or 09561086471. Hope to see you and will be glad to accommodate you.
