This Lenten Season, we invite you to take part in a prayerful Visita Iglesia across Baliwag City. As you journey in faith and reflection, you may also receive simple tokens of appreciation from our local community using the TARA sa Baliwag Holy Week edition brochure.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO JOIN
Step 1: Receive Your Brochure. Get your TARA sa Baliwag Lenten Brochure at the Tourism Information Desk from March 31 to April 2, 2026 (2PM - 6 PM), located at Heroes Park, Poblacion, Baliwag City, Bulacan.
Step 2: Visit the Churches in Prayer. Devoutly visit any parish in Baliwag City as part of your Visita Iglesia, offering prayers and moments of reflection.
Step 3. Mark your journey. After each visit, you may request an official sticker at the Parish Office or Tourism Information Desk. Kindly present a selfie photo taken at the church as proof of visit, and place the sticker in your brochure as a remembrance of your pilgrimage.
Step 4: Receive Tokens from the Community. The Participating establishments are offering simple tokens, gifts, or discounts to visitors who present their brochure with at least three (3) completed stickers. Redemption of gifts and discounts is available until April 30, 2026.
Step 5. Complete the Pilgrimage. Those who were able to visit all six (6) churches and complete their brochure may present it at the Tourism Information Desk on April 3 or at the CACTO until April 30, 2026, to receive a Certificate of Completion and a commemorative souvenir.
*Note: Participants are encouraged to take photos respectfully and appropriately, observing silence and proper decorum inside the church. This activity is intended to support a meaningful and reflective Lenten experience.
