Every contribution helps rebuild Batad Rice Terraces 🌾

The community of Batad is reaching out to seek your support for the rehabilitation, restoration, and preservation of our Heritage - the Batad Rice Terraces. It is a symbol of our cultural heritage, sustainable farming practices, and community identity. Due to super typhoon Uwan last November, 2025 the terraces have faced significant damages caused by soil erosion.

With the collective effort of our village, rebuilding the damaged terrace walls, irrigation and canal system has already begun. However, we continue to face limitations in resources needed for the restoration.

In this regard, we humbly request your generous support in the form of financial assistance, materials, or partnerships. ANY CONTRIBUTION YOU EXTEND WILL GO DIRECTLY TOWARDS REBUILDING THE STONE WALL AMD IRRIGATION SYSTEM USING TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES. The proceeds will support local laborers and provide snacks for volunteers working on the rice terraces.

Your contribution will leave a lasting impact on the preservation of our heritage.
