Small interventions can also make a difference.
Small dams, mini water-retention structures, and riprap can help slow down surface runoff, reduce soil erosion, and allow water to flow more gradually downstream, especially during periods of heavy rainfall.
This is also part of the advocacy of Erins Place Eco Tourism Resort—protecting trees, maintaining our waterways, keeping our small dams clean, and doing our part to help manage water and prevent soil erosion.
Everyone can contribute to caring for nature in their own little way. 🌱
There is no monopoly on environmental stewardship. No one owns the responsibility of protecting nature. Whether through conservation, reforestation, clean waterways, water-retention measures, or simply taking care of the land we are entrusted with—every responsible effort matters.
Because protecting nature is not about who does it best or who gets the credit.
