A poem for all the wanderers out there..

PALANAS

As I leave the city and its busy streets,
I feel my soul begin to find its peace.
No more honking horns or neon lights,
Just the gentle rustling of leaves and sights.

The fresh air fills my lungs, so sweet and pure,
As I venture out and become an adventurer.
The earth beneath my feet, so soft and still,
Is a soothing balm that can calm any ill.

I wander slowly, with no rush or care,
Taking in everything around me without any fear.
The rustling leaves, the flowing streams,
All become the focus of my peaceful dreams.

Far from the city's stress and strife,
I find myself renewed by the slow-paced life.
So much to see, so much to learn,
As my soul begins to heal and my heart begins to burn.

For traveling away from the city can be so sweet,
An adventure that brings us closer to our inner heart beat.
