ly “discoverers” of Sagada would enjoy home-cooked meals, personalized tours and invitations to the celebrations of ancient rituals such as the Begnas and the Dangtey. Through the decades, it is this personal and charming hospitality, more than the scenic mountainscapes and peaceful atmosphere that has made Sagada the world-famous tourist spot that it is now. DAVEY’S INN & RESTAURANT replicates that old-town charm that Sagada is renowned for. Like the rest of the old Sagada Inns, it is a house transformed into place where tourist can enjoy life the way the locals do. This house is a historic place that takes its prideful place in the center of the town. In fact, inn the olden days, it used to be called “The Governor’s House”. DAVEY’S TOWN INN & RESTAURANT offers the present-day tourist the Old Sagada Experience with the same homey atmosphere, the personalized service and amazingly-sumptuous food. There are six rooms, five of them are good good for two persons, and one good for four which has two shared bathrooms and two toilets, just like the Inns of old. The rooms offer a view into the center of town and the comfort rooms are clean and well-polished. The Inn believes in the concept of slow-food, utilizing the freshest of ingredients and cooked in 15 to 20 minutes to ensure your meal is a culinary experience you will not soon forget. Quaint.
