Caticlan-Boracay boat fares to rise provisionally starting April 16

The Caticlan Boracay Transport Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CBTMPC) announced a provisional increase in boat fares for the Caticlan-Boracay Island route, effective Thursday, April 16, 2026.

The new fare structure will be as follows:

- Regular passengers: ₱60.00 per person
- Discount card holders: ₱50.00 per person
- Senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities (PWDs): ₱45.00 per person

In a public notice released today, CBTMPC management stated that the fare adjustment is a temporary measure in response to rising fuel prices brought about by the ongoing Middle East conflict. The cooperative assured riders that fares will revert to their previous rates once fuel prices stabilize at pre-conflict levels.
