The best part of a beach day might be the moment you put your bag down. 🌴

After the sand, the sun and one more photo, give yourself a little time to reset at Mecasa Hotel.

Our tip: leave a gap between your daytime plans and your evening out. A room break can make the second half of the day feel like a fresh start.

First time in Boracay? Plan the journey after the flight, too. ✈️🏝️

Whether you're landing at Caticlan or Kalibo, a little planning helps you connect the flight, boat and final ride to Mecasa.

✈️ Arriving at Caticlan Airport (MPH)
Airport → short mainland ride to the port → boat to Boracay → island ride to Mecasa.
The airport is close to the crossing, but your journey still includes both land and sea transport.

✈️ Arriving at Kalibo International Airport (KLO)
Airport → van or bus towards Caticlan → boat to Boracay → island ride to Mecasa.
Allow roughly 1.5–2 hours for the mainland road journey, plus time for the port, crossing and island ride.

Choose the arrival that suits you:

• Let Mecasa help. We arrange pickups from both Caticlan and Kalibo through a local transfer partner. Call or email us before you travel to ask about availability, the current price, and what's included.

• Book a transfer independently. Compare shared and private options, and check that the package reaches your hotel—not just the port. A private vehicle does not always mean a private boat.

• Arrange each stage yourself. This is an option if you're comfortable organising the land rides, port payments and boat ticket separately.

Our tip: save your pickup confirmation, meeting point and contact number before boarding your flight. If you're arriving late, confirm both your transfer and hotel check-in arrangements ahead of time.

Start with a clear arrival plan. Then leave room for island time.

One Boracay tip worth saving: sunrise and sunset belong on different sides of your day. 🌅

Start with Bulabog Beach for sunrise. Later, head to White Beach for sunset. You don't need to fill every hour in between.

Here’s a simple plan for your first full day:

• Check the day's sunrise time before setting your alarm.
• Keep the middle of the day flexible—take a break instead of rushing through another stop.
• Leave time to reach White Beach before sunset, not just as it begins.
• Save your hotel's map pin before heading out. If taking an e-trike, confirm the total fare and destination before boarding.

Cloudy skies? Keep the beach walk and let the sunset be a bonus.
