To equip our tourism frontliners with essential life-saving skills, Marina del Sol is proud to support and actively participate in the Basic Life Support & First Aid Training recently conducted by the Busuanga Establishments for Sustainable Tourism and Busuanga MDDRMO.

Congratulations to Marina del Sol team member Christopher Novero for being awarded Best in CPR! And many thanks to Marina del Sol Yacht Club Member Dimitry for volunteering as an actor for the practical exams of the students!

Truly, when everyone is involved and engaged, not only do important trainings become a way to share and receive knowledge, they also become bridges for community building and camaraderie!

The Salinggogon are in bloom! Adorning our hillsides, beautiful clusters of these tiny flowers peek from the canopy of trees planted by birds. Locally known as “litchik”, the salinggogon is a native species that shed its leaves and replaces them with thousands of dainty little blooms for a brief period in February-March.

Marking a milestone for Philippine sailing, the 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐏𝐈 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐮𝐩 officially opened the racing season and served as the series opener for Season 3 of the BPI Private Wealth Signature Yacht Race Series. From its humble beginnings in 2016, the regatta has now grown into one of the most anticipated events on the local racing calendar, drawing 14 competing boats, including two new league entrants, this year.

The 2026 edition delivered five days of pure sailing grit—from the demanding offshore start at Punta Fuego, through the legendary Golo Pass, and into the breathtaking waters of Busuanga. True to the Season 3 battle cry, "𝐃𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬" the race once again proved that Philippine waters are a stage for world-class, competitive sailing.
