Hacienda Calabanga is looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Cook to join our Filipino restaurant team.
π Location: Hacienda Calabanga
π Work Hours: 3:00 PM β 12:00 PM
π
Work Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday, 6days a week
π° Salary: Probationary Period (First 3 Months): β±16,000/month
Upon successful completion of the 3-month probationary period, the salary will increase to: β±20,000/month
π¨βπ³ Qualifications
* Previous experience working as a restaurant cook is preferred
* Strong knowledge of Filipino cuisine and cooking techniques
* Able to prepare authentic Filipino dishes consistently and according to established recipes
* Experience preparing dishes such as adobo, sinigang, kare-kare, pancit, sisig, grilled dishes, fried dishes, and other Filipino favorites is an advantage
* Knowledge of proper food preparation, portion control, and food presentation
* Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant kitchen
* Knowledgeable about proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety
* Able to follow recipes, instructions, and portion standards
* Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and trustworthy
* Able to work well as part of a kitchen team
* Willing to work 6 days a week, Tuesday to Sunday
* Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work
* Restaurant experience is strongly preferred
π³ Main Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook Filipino dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards
* Ensure food is consistently prepared with good taste, quality, and presentation
* Prepare ingredients and maintain proper mise en place before and during service
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
* Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
* Monitor ingredients and inform the supervisor when supplies are running low
* Minimize food waste through proper preparation and portion control
* Work efficiently during busy service periods
* Assist with receiving and storing food supplies when needed
* Follow kitchen procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Perform other reasonable kitchen duties as required
