Our Story

Magindara is derived from one of the Bicolanos folklore. Magindara is a lovely siren. She is very attractive and she lures fishermen to the sea by her lovely voice and takes them.

My husband and I, we are not from here, but we came for a holiday and we fell in love with the place. We saw the raw beauty that lies in this little town tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is true that the journey is long and tiring but the destination is well worth it. We wanted to share this experience to others.

It is not as commercialized as Boracay nor Palawan. The amenities in this area is pretty basic, but its all we needed to get away from our busy lives and get in touch with mother nature.

Magindara Guesthouse is consists of 7 different huts. We have 2 family huts, 3 small basic huts and 2 double concrete huts. All airconditioned, with electric fans and we have a back up generator in case the power goes off. Little town like Caramoan is developing so the power is just not as reliable compared to the city.
