NEWS UPDATE: At least two foreign airlines are planning to suspend “unprofitable” flights to and from Cebu amid the surging oil prices linked to instability in the Middle East.

Korea-based carrier Jin Air will suspend its Busan-Cebu flights from April 4 to April 30, the Korea Times reported on March 30. Air Busan will also suspend its flights from Busan to Cebu starting next month. South Korea is Cebu’s top source of foreign arrivals.
