LATEST UPDATE AS OF JULY 17, 2018:
To everyone who has supported Baby Isidro and his family by way of your prayers and financial support: WE PRAISE GOD FOR YOU! Thank you for your love and generosity. ππ»Sharing Daddy Grant "Cocoi" Javier's message with you all:
"Good morning! We can stop asking for donations already... we have received enough pledges already to cover the payments for the loans we took. Thank you very much for all your help. This would not have been possible without you. The extra we will donate to other kids and families in need."
On behalf of the Javier family, especially Daddy Cocoi and Mommy Gay, thank you so so so much! β€οΈ Let's keep them in our prayers as they continue to move on without Baby Idoy in their lives... grieving, yes, but clinging to God's promises and witnessing to His love and faithfulness! Please also pray for those who are in need and suffering right now... let's do what we can to help keep Idoy's legacy of faith, hope, and love alive. God bless us all!
------
Please keep the prayers and support coming. The Javiers really need them at this time.
From Mommy Gay, July 3, 2018, 9am:
"7 days have passed. The events of that morning are still very fresh, Idoy. And it was as if it were happening again this morning when I could not find your last hand and foot print which we took on that fateful day to serve as our reminder of you and those last moments. I prayed so hard to find it thinking that it was my last memory of you. Sabi ko pa, "iniwan ako uli ni Idoy" -pagbigyan ang drama.
Coi found them in his closet carefully tucked under all the clothes after praying, and I remembered all our family and friends who came to comfort, help and support us even from day I got confined in April.
Tama si Coi nang sabihin niyang "hindi nang iwan si Idoy". His hand and foot prints maybe the only physical remembrance I have but he lives in our hearts and his love for us will always be alive through family and friends who have made us feel the warmth of God's love in this time of adversity and have allowed us to see beauty in suffering and pain."
Our little saint Isidro in heaven, pray for us.
---
Again, we, the friends of the Javier family, would like to continue asking for your support for them by your prayers and, if God moves you to do so, by your financial support as well (to help with all the medical bills accumulated during Isidro's 71 days in the NICU). They did not ask us to do this but we know that any bit of help will go a long way.
