Les Coquillages White Sand Beach Resort

"Les Coquillages" is a white sand beach resort with 5 cottages facing the Sibuyan Sea including 4 on the beachfront, located in Barangay San Isidro, Municipality of Claveria, on the west coast of the Burias Island. The Sibuyan Sea is so rich in sea creatures like many large seashells including "budyong" and clams in the deep end. By good weather we can see the 1500m big rock of Sibuyan Island just

in front of us, but 100km away. Burias Island is one of the 3 main islands of the Masbate Province, Philippines (in addition to Masbate Proper & Ticao). HOW TO GET TO LES COQUILLAGES:

1- From NCR first by road (car, or bus at Cubao) taking the daily ferry in San Andres (Quezon Province) to San Pascual at the North of Burias Island. Then 2 to 3 hours of car/van/motorcycle to San Isidro via Claveria.

2- From Cam Sur: by car taking the daily ferry in Pasacao to San Pascual (see above).

3- From Albay: take the the Ferry at 2pm (estimated time) in Pio Duran to Claveria, then habal-habal to San Isidro (45 min). Note there are some cargo bangkas leaving Pio Duran before noon to nearby places like Taguilid, Tapayas or Boca Enganyo; then habal-habal for 10-20 min.

4- For foreigners arriving at Manila, take a flight to Legazpi/Daraga Airport (1h), then a van to Pio Duran (2.5h). Take a ferry to Claveria then habal habal to San Isidro (45 min).

5- From Masbate Proper: There is now a daily Ferry from Mobo Port leaving before midnight for Claveria (see Pt 3). Another solution is to rent a small bangka in Aroroy to San Isidro (about 2.5 h). There is also a 3-weekly scheduled cargo bangka called Black Nazarene from Aroroy reaching in 3h Sitio Agoho only 1km from our place. Check at the harbor before noon. Then habal-habal for 5 min. Note also at Masbate Port there is every 2-days a big cargo bangka called Bryan leaving at 6am to Burias, stopping at Boca Enganyo (see above).

6- From San Andres, Pio Duran, Donsol or Aroroy we can fetch groups (until 15 people) with our large bangka. Cost is crudo-dependent (can be discussed before-hand). Send us a message to inquire.
