We had a quite similar experience last Sept 11 to 12 Guest

🏊‍♂️ 25 PAX ANG KASAMA SA PACKAGE—PERO 71 UMANO ANG DUMATING

Nagbabala ang isang private resort owner sa mga kapwa negosyante matapos umanong magkaroon ng problema sa bilang ng mga bisitang dinala ng isang client.

Ayon sa resort owner, sinabi noong inquiry na nasa 30 katao lamang ang dadalo. Gayunman, 71 guests umano ang dumating—46 na higit sa 25 pax na kasama sa kanilang binayarang package.

Nang singilin ang additional guest fees, tumanggi umano ang client dahil hindi raw nila nabasa ang rates na ipinadala at hindi ito personal na naipaliwanag noong kanilang ocular visit.

Ipinaliwanag ng resort owner na ang mas maraming bisita ay nangangahulugan ng mas malaking paggamit ng pool, tubig, kuryente, comfort rooms at iba pang pasilidad, bukod pa sa dagdag na basura at paglilinis. Nagbigay na rin umano sila ng discount para mapagkasunduan ang bayarin, ngunit hindi pa rin ito binayaran.

Paalala sa mga nagbu-book: Basahin at linawin muna ang package inclusions, guest limits at additional charges bago kumpirmahin ang reservation. Para naman sa mga resort owner, makatutulong ang written acknowledgment ng policies at final headcount bago ang event upang maiwasan ang ganitong hindi pagkakaunawaan.

We understand that plans may change and additional guests may sometimes be added. However, please understand that every additional guest has an impact on our operations, whether or not they stay overnight. Additional guests mean additional use of the swimming pool, water, electricity, restrooms, and other facilities. They also generate additional waste and require more cleaning, preparation, supplies, and additional staff.

This is why our packages have a specified number of guests included. We also do not engage in UNLIPAX packages. The rate is not simply for the use of the property—it also takes into consideration the number of people who will be using the resort's facilities and resources.

We also want to emphasize that private resorts are still businesses with operating costs. Just as PUBLIC RESORTS and other establishments charge according to EACH HEAD, private resorts also need to implement reasonable additional guest charges when the declared number is exceeded.

Our goal is not to make guests feel burdened by additional charges. In fact, whenever possible, we try to be reasonable and considerate with additional guest fees to help our clients and maintain a good relationship with them.

We simply ask for honesty and transparency in declaring your guests. Doing so helps us prepare properly, maintain the quality of our service, and provide a fair experience for everyone.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation. When you declare your actual number of guests, you help us serve you better—and help us continue providing the Palm Bliss experience our clients deserve.
