Our forest resort now has internet, thanks to Starlink 🏡😍📡

It feels like an end of an era for us. We used to drive our guests to a nearby hill just to have internet.💕

Over the years, we have met with different local internet providers, but because we were in the middle of a protected forest, their signal nor their line cables could reach us.

We're incredibly grateful for this technology, and now all of our guests will get to enjoy this too 💕

We dream of better days with our guest , founder of 🌴 A summer without guests this year hits differently to us. We have seen our quiet province get more and more tourists throughout the years, and with it, the dependence and growth of Coron's residents.

While we still support our team and crew, we also think about the people in our hometown and other places who have been laid off, who have no work/no pay, and who struggle to make ends meet because of this pandemic.

We hope things get better for all of us, and that positive systemic changes will also be pushed for the people and the environment.

We miss you all, and we look forward to having you with us in this paradise again.🏡🌴❤️

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for sending us messages to check up on us. Here in Casa Fidelis, we are all safe and healthy. We also want to share what's going on with us.

Almost two months of our province (and the Philippines) being on lockdown has been very difficult for our small, family-run business.

But despite this, as a family, we have decided to continue retaining our staff with pay. What we have earned from our past revenues are now dedicated to making sure our team continues earning even without any guests or tourism.

Although we have reduced their working hours, we make sure that they are all still paid and cared for under our wing, and we have also donated rice as an additional support for their families. Our staff are currently focused on planting coffee, vegetables, and local limes, so these fresh harvests are something to look forward to for all of us.🌱

For our past visitors and future guests who chose to stay with us, thank you so much. Know that the money you have paid is being directly infused to our team for support.❤️

We mean it when we say our team is like a family to us. We believe that as employers, our staff needs our support now more than ever. We will be there for them because they have been always been there for us, too.🏡

As the travel industry struggles to recover, we are hoping that once this lockdown is over, you will continue to support us. Please remember telling your families and friends about us. If you have not left a Tripadvisor review, please do. This will truly mean a lot to us and future travelers.
