PHILIPPINES' LONGEST HANGING FOOTBRIDGE IS LOCATED IN SADANGA, MT. PROVINCE
Nabenngan Bridge, famously known as The Peace Bridge, is the longest hanging footbridge in the Philippines.
Standing 180 meters above the ground and stretching 320 meters in length, this engineering marvel is constructed with sturdy steel cables and mattings.
Did you know that before the Nabenngan Bridge was constructed, farmers faced a grueling journey, descending a steep mountain, crossing a stream, and then climbing another mountain, to reach their fields. This time-consuming and energy-draining trek was part of their daily lives.
