TRAVEL ADVISORY | CURRENT SITUATION UPDATE
Personnel from the Cebu Provincial Tourism Office are currently stationed at both the Cebu North and South Bus Terminals to assist travelers with their travel plans.
๐ซ North Bus Terminal:
All northbound bus trips remain suspended, including routes leading to Bantayan Island. Operations at Hagnaya, Pulangbato, and Bantayan Ports are still on hold pending ongoing safety inspections.

South Bus Terminal:
All trips to southern Cebu are operational with no cancellations reported.
We advise all travelers to coordinate with terminal staff and stay updated for official announcements regarding the resumption of northern routes.

A magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Bogo City at 9:59 PM, September 30, with a depth of 5 kilometers. Aftershocks continue across northern Cebu.
The Incident Command Post (ICP) in Bogo City remains the central coordination hub for provincial response and relief operations.

Heavily affected: Bogo City, Medellin, San Remigio, Daanbantayan, Sogod, and Borbon.
Other municipalities with reported damage include Tabogon, Tabuelan, Tuburan, Bantayan, Sta. Fe, Catmon, Carmen, San Francisco, and Madridejos.

- Sinkholes and fissures found in Medellin, Borbon, and San Remigio.

Due to heavy congestion in northern Cebu from volunteers and private donors, the Governor has urged the public to avoid traveling to the affected towns to keep roads clear for emergency and relief vehicles.
To facilitate faster and safer drop-offs, the Cebu Provincial Government has opened a Donation Hub at the Danao City Boardwalk, in partnership with the Danao City LGU.
Donations may now be brought to the Danao City Boardwalk, where provincial teams will handle sorting and transport to the affected areas.
