On recent dives, we came across a few of the fascinating creatures that call these reefs home—from a bignose seagrass shrimp perfectly camouflaged on feather-like green macroalgae, to a striking flamboyant cuttlefish, and finally a painted frogfish.

We are proud to share that Tata Cabaron, our DiveShop Manager, and dive instructor Ora-a Jomer, both experienced dive instructors of Salaya Beach Houses, have recently completed their certification as AVELO instructors under the guidance of instructor Ben Larson, who led the training and certification process.

This milestone follows their participation in AVELO tryouts last May together with fellow instructor Rene Huisman, marking an important step in our team’s continuous journey of development in diving innovation.

At Salaya Beach Houses, we believe that exceptional dive experiences are built on dedication, growth, and a shared passion for the ocean.
