Last 2021, I requested services from a known service provider (dili lang nako i-share kung kinsa) to conduct rehabilitation of our FRP Multimedia, Activated Carbon, and Resin system, including upgrading the membrane capacity to 6,000 GPD per day. To make the story short, I was very disappointed with the results.
That experience pushed me to invest in myself and enroll in a Water Technician Course conducted by Aquasian Water Technologies. After the training, I realized there were a lot of faults in the previous setup and process.
1. New membranes should be flushed for at least 1 hour to release formalin (preservative) before operation.
2. FRP materials should be legitimate and properly tested. Daghan kaayo peke karon, especially activated carbon. I personally recommend BF Industries Inc. for their high-quality activated carbon products.
3. Don’t rely on “tilaw-tilaw” only. Proper tools and testing equipment should always be used to monitor water quality daily.
As an educated water provider, I corrected everything even though it required additional expenses. Yes, gasto siya, but for me, ensuring the health and safety of our customers is non-negotiable.
Time went by, and now one of my employees is also trained in proper water treatment procedures. Last May 11, 2026 Renante Acorda led his team in replacing two membranes while following the correct process to ensure quality and pure drinking water for our customers.
Continuous learning, proper process, and integrity in service will always produce better water quality and better trust from customers.
