TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE, MASAKSIHAN KARONG NOVEMBER 8

Sa talagsaong higayon, mahitabo ang astronomical event na Total Lunar Eclipse karong November 8, 2022, adlawng Martes na masaksihan mismo sa nasud Pilipinas sumala pa sa PAG-ASA.

Mahitabo lamang ang lunar eclipse kung nakaposisyon ang Sun, Earth, ug Moon diin ang moon muagi sa earth shadow nga wala masilawan sa adlaw. Kini usab ang temporyang pagkawala sa hayag sa buwan kung asa natabunan kini sa anino sa kalibutan.

Sa total lunar eclipse, ang tibook moon kay muagi mismo sa pinakangitngit na portion sa Earth's shadow (mao ang umbra) na magresulta usab sa pagnigitngit o ang pagpula sa tibook buwan nga gitawag usab sa uban ug blood moon.

"In Manila, the lunar eclipse will be observed as soon as the moon rises at 5:19 PM. The totality (that is when the shadow of the Earth completely covers the moon) will start at 6:16 PM. Greatest eclipse (maximum) or the peak stage of the eclipse at 6:59 PM and will end at 7:42 PM. It will then go into a partial eclipse until 8:49 pm and comes to an end at 9:58 PM".
