At Lakbay Hospitality Co., we are proud to be a growing and thriving property management company in El Nido. As the founder, I have built my experience through hands-on involvement in short-term rental management, learning continuously, and leading by doing. Alongside me is a team of dedicated managers who are steadily gaining experience, improving their skills, and working hard every day to support our clients and deliver excellent service.
Our commitment has always been to provide outstanding guest experiences while honoring exactly what is outlined in our proposals and agreements. We believe in delivering what we promise—no less, but also no more than what has been mutually agreed upon. At times, some property owners may expect services beyond the scope of our agreements, but we stand firm in ensuring that our work and our team's efforts are respected and properly valued.
Recently, after careful consideration, we made the decision to discontinue working with one client after 15 days. This decision was not taken lightly. At Lakbay Hospitality Co., we are committed to maintaining a healthy, respectful, and supportive work environment—from our cleaners to our managers. While our mission is to support property owners in growing their businesses, we also prioritize the well-being of our team. We do not tolerate environments where effort is undervalued, agreements are disregarded, or respect is lacking.
We strongly believe that appreciation matters. A simple “thank you” goes a long way. Leaders who focus only on negatives and overlook the hard work of their teams risk creating environments that are unsustainable and discouraging.
As a company, we are grateful to have the freedom to choose the clients we work with. Our motivation is not driven solely by profit, but by our values—integrity, fairness, respect, and a commitment to doing what is right. We strive to be not only a successful company, but also a responsible and principled one.
