Recognizing the coast as both a prime resource and capital, Apple Tree Resort & Hotel today took part in another coastal activity.

The activity was a mangrove tree planting in the marine sanctuary of Luyongbonbon, Opol, presented by the Philippine National Police of Opol, Misamis Oriental in celebration of the 31st PCR Month.

Also involved were the ladies and gentlemen of the EAGLES Gold Coast Kauswagan, Brgy. Luyongbonbon Council, RDMU 10-PNP, Opol MPS, Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary, and San Miguel Corporation.

The team's approach to sustainability is powered by passion for the resources that its core business is built on, so says Apple Tree General Manager Bam Manigsaca-Emphasis, "I am incredibly proud to lead a team that excels not only in hospitality but also in caring for our environment. Today, we made an effort to make a lasting impact on our environment by participating in this mangrove tree planting activity." She adds, "Sustainability is a core responsibility that we have always taken seriously."

Just a quick note to tell everyone that our beachfront restaurant, Erlindo's, will be unavailable to the public on 25 July 2026, Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. to cater to a private event.

Erlindo's will be back to serve to you on 26 July, Sunday, while the Saturday dinner buffet will be back on 1 August, Saturday.

Scenes from last Saturday's celebration

Cliff's Coffee celebrated two years of serving the fascinating art of creating aromatic, flavorful coffees in an afternoon of coffee, cakes and pastries.

In the celebration were clients and partners of Apple Tree Resort & Hotel such as Asia Brewery, Xavier University, City Tourism Office, and LGU Opol, along with the "usual suspects" (😁) Explorers Channel, Bossing MOTO VLOG, Insert 2L 2.0, and PITIK ni Chuy.

Apple Tree General Manager Bam Manigsaca-Emphasis speaks about Cliff's Coffee's first two years, "We are always looking for ways to improve and evolve our products and services to fit the lifestyle of our guests.
