Swell started to increase yesterday afternoon and was 3-3.5ft from the NE at first light this morning. Wind has been a pleasant medium strength Offshore throughout the day and the Crowd was good also with it being light early then only up to 25 and I was like a young grommet again and had 2 sessions for the morning.

Swell dropped to 6-7ft from The N with the odd bombs still coming through. Wind was habagat from the W being medium to strong strength. Crowd was up to 4 that I saw.

And another day of Onshore NE monsoon, Swell was the same 3ft wind effected short period s**t and the Crowd was only the very keen. Progress on moving back into Ocean 101 Cloud 9 Beach Resort beachside Restaurant is almost complete with the move from our reception area should be completed within the week with the final touches on repair of Typhoon Odette damage.

Conditions were similar again, Light offshore breeze from 1st light until 8-9am then the seasonal onshore Wind returned from the E and remained all day. Crowd was the same as it has been also with the keen locals and tourist filing in from daybreak and again I abstained preferring To spend time with my beautiful wife and some friends and select family to remember her deceased father on his birthday in 1 of his favorite places the Ocean 101 Cloud 9 Seebreeze bikobo

Conditions were clean at first light with the light Offshore blowing and it hung around until 8-9am, Sadly the Swell was still short period 3ft from the ENE and the Crowd was present from 1st light also with surfers filing in before sun break and growing to 15 +.

And the NE monsoon has now continued for 2 days + of varied strength. Swell has dropped to around the 4ft mark. Crowd was even present this afternoon with at least half a dozen people keen and out there having a go.

Sad Face Emoji, at 4am my body is still on Australia time and I woke hoping for another day of clean conditions but walking the 50m from Point 303 Cloud 9 Resort where I live these days I was greeted by a howling Amman that had started yesterday afternoon and has continued until last light today.Swell may have lifted slightly to 6ft from the ENE but it was hard to really tell under the wind mush. Crowd would have been minimal all day but I did see 2 extremely keen blokes out having a go when I went to the tower at 5pm to take todays photos that are viewable on our pages.

WooHoo sometime during the night the wind switched off and at 1st light the Habagat was back. Swell was still 4ft with the odd bigger 1 but sadly was still from the ENE at a short period. Crowd was only me at first light but after awhile I was joined by 1 other Filipino and as I was walking home along the pier I passed 1 other.

Sadly even at 1st light the amihan NE onshore Wind was very prevalent and had been blowing through out the night. Swell seemed a similar 4ft from the NE also and the Crowd was only 1 Kano to my knowledge as I stopped and said hello to him later at 7am as I was taking my daily photo that still don't load here but can be seen on our page Ocean101 Beach Resort: Cloud 9 Surf Report and even with the horrible conditions he had a happy early morning surf stoke on his dial.

Conditions were good at first light with my morning walk around the foreshore, check off Cloud 9 from the tower and then coffee in the Ocean 101 Breeze bar to check all the 10 waves in the bay of plenty. Swell was semi clean 4-5ft from the NE but only at 9 seconds, Wind then was habagat perfect offshore and light then after taking todays photo from my house I decided to go for a paddle and take advantage of no crowd and clean conditions. As I paddled into the peak there was 3 others arriving at the same time and the wind was good for 30 minutes before becoming a light N onshore with a passing squall then dropped for 10 minutes then returned slightly stronger from the NE, Crowd never grew over 6 at this time.

The rain finally eased with this the continual Onshore Wind slowed also. Swell was in 2 with a large medium period Nth and a medium size ENE swell at a shorter period. Crowd was still zero and I also went looking further afield and surfed a semi secret break solo.
