Awesome stay in Siargao!!

Excellent location (although not in the town of General Luna, it is between G.L. and Tourism Road (where most of the resorts, bars and restaurants are). Staff are brilliant, let us rent motorbikes/scooters for php350 per day (bike to Pacifico beach and Magpupunko lagoon at low tide), told us where to go to book island hopping tour (Kermit) and places to eat (Kermit, Mama's Grill and the shop next door are a must try!). We had surfing lessons for php1000 (not per hour but per 'session', ours was ~1.5hrs), James and his brother were awesome, we stood up so many times and are only beginners! Good wifi, can use their kitchen (we only used the fridge), cold showers, lovely private double room with hammock outside and they have an adorable cat too. James and the owner very kindly gave us a lift on our last day too! Really sad to leave! P.S. If you want to go to Sugba lagoon don't pay php2000 for a tour, rent a php350 bike, ride 45mins to Del Carmen and rent a boat for the day for php1600. Well worth it if there is a group of you (6 max), we were a group of 4 and paid php675 each (inc php100 foreigner's fee). Just bring your own lunch!
