The late Mayor Jaime Plaza Rusillon’s vision to turn Siargao into a premier surfing destination has indeed come to fruition.

The 2026 Cloud 9 Memorial Surfing Cup is the second stop of the Governor’s National Surfing Cup - Siargao Circuit.

This Grade 3 Shortboard event is organized by the Province of Surigao del Norte, in partnership with SISA Siargao Island Surfers Association, sanctioned by the United Philippine Surfing Association.
