Our community lost a great person last night but he will never leave our hearts.
Mike "Mamai" Escolutra, we thank you for being one of the greatest person we've encountered in life. The way you were and how you lived your life will always inspire us.
You passed on surf trips because you had to review for exams. You passed on off shore surf sessions because you had to work and do surf lessons. You passed on drinks because you don't drink. You knew what mattered more, and we know the decisions you made were more for your parents and siblings than for yourself.
We always wonder why good people have to be the ones to leave us early. We keep asking why you had to go. Why you? Why now?
It is very difficult for all of us to accept this loss especially when you were approaching the prime of you life.
We will always love and remember you, Mamai. Everyone has a purpose in life and we know yours is to teach us how to be a better person! Surf in peace bro!!
