| GREENLEAF HOTEL EXPANDS WITH NEW 90-ROOM, 5-STORY ANNEX

One of General Santos City’s pioneering upscale hotels is growing even bigger.

Now on its 13th year, Greenleaf Hotel Gensanl is expanding with the construction of a new 5-story annex behind its existing property along Jose Catolico Avenue.

The expansion will add 90 new rooms, bringing the hotel’s total room inventory to more than 200 rooms once completed.

The new annex will also feature a VIP Club, a Sky Garden Lounge at the top floor, and multiple function rooms which, when combined, can accommodate up to 750 guests — further strengthening Greenleaf Hotel’s position as one of the city’s premier destinations for conventions, weddings, corporate functions, and major events.

Meanwhile, the ground floor of the new structure will be converted into a parking area that, together with the existing hotel parking facilities, will provide around 200 parking slots for guests and visitors.

Opened in 2013 beside SM City General Santos, Greenleaf Hotel has become one of the city’s most recognizable business and lifestyle hotels over the past 13 years.

The expansion reflects the continued growth of General Santos City’s hospitality, tourism, and events industry.

| BACOLOD’S TRIUMPH HOME DEPOT RISING IN APOPONG

Another massive commercial development is beginning to rise along the National Highway in Barangay Apopong, General Santos City.

Construction signages at the site beside the Ford Philippines Bldg. identify the project as an upcoming branch of Triumph Home Depot, a fast-growing Bacolod City-based home improvement and construction retail chain. The project owner listed on the signage is Mandaue Pacific Star Corporation.

Once completed, the General Santos branch will reportedly become Triumph Home Depot’s 5th store in Mindanao, following its branches in Ozamiz, Pagadian, Zamboanga, and Cagayan de Oro.

The future warehouse-style store is expected to cater to homeowners, contractors, builders, engineers, architects, and the city’s booming construction market.
