East Asia Royale Hotel Gensan EVER AFTER | So Poppy and I were back at EARH last night for a sashimi station gig—and wow, nostalgia hit hard!

Looking at her white-washed elegance, I can’t help but realize I’ve made so many memories in this place, including some of the most unforgettable events I’ve staged. Like that time back in 2008 when we practically booked the entire hotel for an EU aquaculture workshop. We flew in experts from the UK and Spain, and even turned one of the rooms into a makeshift office with a photocopier running 24/7! 😝 1 week din ata akong tumira sa hotel! And of course, there was that heartfelt thanksgiving celebration when my daughter passed the civil engineering board exam. 🥰

Coincidentally, it’s their anniversary this July. Can you believe it? East Asia Royale Hotel is now 28 years strong! Eh ikaw, what’s your East Asia memory?A wedding? A spontaneous staycation? Babes Bar? Pizza party at Giacominos? Whatever it is, I’m sure this place holds a story or two for you, too.
