Safety comes first at LifeBank Center!

On July 22, 2026, we conducted a fire drill in LifeBank Center Function Room 1 to help everyone be better prepared in case of a fire or other emergency.

The drill allowed all participants to practice proper evacuation procedures and understand the importance of staying calm and working together during emergencies. Activities like this help improve emergency preparedness and create a safer environment for everyone who visits and uses the facilities at LifeBank Center.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for sharing their expertise and assisting us in the successful conduct of the fire drill. Your support plays a vital role in helping us strengthen our emergency preparedness.

By working together and staying prepared, we continue to strengthen our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all.

June 18, 2026 - The LBRB and LBF staff experienced a Glimpse of Zen at the LifeBank Center IMP Hall.

It was an enriching session that reminded us of the importance of mindfulness, inner peace, and maintaining balance in the workplace.

Learning about Zen has inspired us to be more present, focused, and resilient in our daily tasks, while fostering a healthier, more positive work environment.

With immense pride and gratitude, we announce the appointment of Dr. Vicente P. Perlas as the new Chairman of the LifeBank Group, marking the beginning of another exciting chapter in our journey of empowering lives and transforming communities.

Known as the "Father of Microfinance" at LifeBank, Dr. Perlas has dedicated decades of visionary leadership to advancing our mission. He previously served as Vice President for Finance, President of LifeBank-A Rural Bank, and first President of LifeBank Foundation, and later returned to further strengthen the organization he helped build.

Dr. Perlas earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from West Visayas State University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He also now serves as President of BlueFields Enterprises Inc., reflecting his commitment to both business excellence and community development.

Throughout his leadership, LifeBank has transformed the lives of countless women and families by providing opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods. From market vendors expanding their businesses to tricycle drivers owning their own vehicles and parents sending their children to school with fees paid on time, these stories reflect the lasting impact of microfinance and the collective efforts of everyone who has been part of the LifeBank journey.

As Dr. Perlas assumes his new role as Chairman, he leaves us with these inspiring words:
