Have you ever prayed about the same thing so many times that you started wondering, “Lord, should I still be asking You for this?”

Maybe you've been praying for provision, direction, healing, or an open door. You ask, but nothing seems to change. You seek, but you still don't know where you're going. You knock, but the door remains closed.

And sometimes, the hardest part isn't praying. It's continuing to pray when you don't know if anything is happening.

Jesus says: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

There is persistence in those words. 
Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking.

Not because God is reluctant to answer, but because prayer isn't only about receiving what we want. It's also about learning to trust the heart of the Father.

We might be asking for a door to open, but what if, God is preparing us for a better one? We ask for clarity, but what ir He gives us only enough light for the next step?

When you can't see what He's doing, remember:
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Let us not mistake God's silence for His absence. He can be working in the unseen while teaching your heart to trust Him in the waiting.
When you're tired of asking, ask again. When you're unsure where to go, seek Him again. When the door hasn't opened, knock again.

Because the greatest gift isn't simply receiving the answer we asked for.

It is knowing the One we asked.
