🌅 DAY 2: Slow Mornings, Beach Walks, and the Scenic Route Home

One of the best things about staying at From the Ground Up is waking up to the sound of the waves and having nowhere to rush.

Our second day started simply:

☕ Morning coffee at From the Ground Up

🌊 Early beach swim and shoreline walk

🍳 Breakfast and kwentuhan with friends

🧳 Shower, pack up, and check out

⛪ Visit to St. Mark Cathedral in Infanta

🥧 Stop at Ike n Che for buko pie and refreshing lemonade

🎁 Pasalubong shopping at Hayin Cafe

🍝 Late lunch at La Speranza, enjoying the beautiful views before the drive home

🙏 We capped off the weekend with Mass at St. Paul of the Cross Parish in SSS Village before heading back to our respective homes in Canlubang, Biñan, Sucat, San Mateo, and Marikina.

What we appreciated most was how relaxed the entire trip felt. No long hikes, no packed schedules—just good food, beautiful scenery, meaningful conversations, and quality time with friends.

If you’re looking for a weekend itinerary that’s senior-friendly, easy to organize, and packed with memorable experiences, Infanta might be exactly what you’re looking for.

We hope to welcome you soon at From the Ground Up Home and Cafe.

Only have a weekend to explore and chill with friends? This is what we did last weekend…

🚗 DAY 1: From Metro Manila & Laguna to Infanta in One Relaxing Weekend

Last weekend, our group of 10 friends came from Canlubang, Biñan, Sucat, San Mateo, and Marikina for a quick overnight getaway in Infanta, Quezon. We traveled in just two Toyota Innovas—one for our South group and one for our East group.

Here’s how our first day went:

⛪ 6:00 AM – Started the day with Mass at St. Therese Shrine

☕ Breakfast at Cafe Cristina in Boso-Boso, where we enjoyed good food, fresh air, and beautiful mountain views

🙏 Quick visit to Regina RICA for prayer, reflection, and photos

💦 Short stop at Pinlac Falls to enjoy the cool mountain water and stretch our legs after the drive

🍽️ Lunch at Fiesta Infanta

🥥 Fresh buko and seafood shopping at Parola, Dinahican

🏡 Check-in at From the Ground Up in Binulasan

🌊 Late afternoon beach walk and ocular visit to Marpet Ocean View Resort

🍴 Back at From the Ground Up for a wonderful home-style dinner:
• Special meat dishes prepared by Glen Nolledo
• Inihaw na isda and sinigang cooked by the barkada
• Freshly baked buko pie from Ike n Che

One of the things we love about Infanta is how many activities you can fit into a single day without feeling rushed. Mountains, waterfalls, beaches, good food, and meaningful conversations—all in one trip.

Stay tuned for Day 2!
