With 34 turn around flights daily, Tacloban DZR Airport is the Philippine's fastest growing domestic airport.

If Tacloban DZRA becomes an international airport, it will certainly be a good hub for domestic and foreign airlines. This growth is powered by the rising number of tourists to Eastern Visayas region as well as the locals visiting their hometowns.

To supplement its capacity, Catarman, Calbayog, Catbalogan, Biliran and Maasin airports have been opened to scheduled and charter flights to decongest the huge traffic passing through DZRA.

A brand new, more spacious terminal built by the Duterte administration will soon be inaugurated supporting the region's rise as a tourism powerhouse.

📍You need to start travelling from Baybay proper Villa Sol. at 4:30-5:00 am. There is no available public transportation in this time, so you need to have your own vehicle.
📍Villa Solidaridad is the last barangay in Baybay going to Tacloban.
📍Travel time: 40-45 mins.
📍Route: Baybay-Tacloban Highway
📍When you arrive at the barangay gym, you can ask residents there. There are already residents in the road in this time. If you found none, you need to drive about 200 meters from the gym going to the crossing. You will see a waiting shed in the right side.
📍Turn right and drive for 2 minutes. You will reach the registration area.
📍Entrance Fee: 10 pesos/person.
📍From the registration area, you need to drive for 8 minutes going to the site.
📍The site is located beside a barangay road. To see the panoramic view of the clouds, you need to climb 30-40 steps stairs.
📍 There's no need for you to hike and trek for a long distance. Distance from parking area to the viewing spot is 30-40 steps away
✅When you go there, make sure that the weather is good. The clouds won't appear if it is rainy and windy that morning.
