Adrenaline over tactical manual today! 🏃‍♂️💨

​No heavy gear, no slow "slicing the pie"—just careless entries to chase the timer for the fun of it! 😁

​Surprisingly, room clearing turned out neck-and-neck between the hand cannon and the long gun while throwing 27 rounds downrange:
​Handgun: 38.2 seconds 🎯
​Carbine: 38.5 seconds 🎯

Looks like a miniature M60, feeds like a belt-fed beast, but shoots semi-auto when you ask nicely! 💥

​Spotted the IWI Negev 5.56mm! What makes this light machine gun pretty cool is its selector switch—it actually has a Semi-Auto setting alongside Full-Auto, which is rare for belt-feds.

Plus, if you run out of belted ammo, it can take standard box, and/or AR mags!

​Talk about versatile firepower! 🎯

​Met awesome people afflicted with the exact same Gunpowder-Smell Deficiency Syndrome—and we all walked away with the same satisfied grin. 😊

Folklore says lanzones used to be poisonous.

Legend has it that the Virgin Mary passed by a hungry village, pinched the fruit to draw out the poison, and made it sweet. Those tiny brown dots or marks on the skin are said to be her fingernail prints!... but I think placing banana stalks at the base of the tree did half the miracle this year! 🌿✨

Even the ones with green spots are sweet right now!

Next step: saving the peels to dry and burn as natural mosquito repellent. 🦟🔥

Sipping warm Vietnamese coffee and contemplating life... ☕✨

​Huge thanks to Waylon D. Aclibon of Palazzo Cafe for the great brew and coffee talk! Turns out he has to import beans from Vietnam and Indonesia because our local supply can’t keep up—even with buying fresh red-ripe beans at ₱50/kilo!

​It’s a bit sad seeing old Robusta farms abandoned when almost every backyard used to have them growing alongside fruit trees.

Shoutout to the 3 certified GAP coffee farms in Lagawe and Lamut for keeping the torch burning! As for the rest of us in Tinoc, Banaue, Kiangan, Hingyon, and Mayoyao... apparently being heavy coffee drinkers (with our cooler weather) isn't enough motivation to clean up the backyard plots yet! 😂 'Umuna latta piman ti Lamut (nairaman ti Lagawe)' 🌿☕👏👏👏

Kero's first live fire on PCC iron sights! 🎯

​A few takeaways from the session:
- ​NTCH (Nose to Charging Handle) doesn't matter much up close.
​- Flying the chicken wing because comfort > tactical perfection today! 🐣
​- That shell catcher is a lifesaver for brass (and back ache from picking up) but talk about a blind spot... Tip: shoot right-to-left unless you enjoy guessing where the next target is. 😂
