You, who taught me how to LOVE, be keen to critict but appreciate every laugh and cry, made me resilient under the test of time. I know i have often taken you for granted, and at times, shown ungrateful acts and belies, NEVER in my HEART have doubt, that through your LOVE will soon UNITE all of us who mourned from eyes and inside. . .

Addemdum, Mr Cose since your the best on your own field, may you do the great honor of working for us & to build a new structure that can withstand, weather, all circumstances from the Acts of Nature - of course, not to mind anymore the EXTRAORDINARY repuatation you have in your locale for which would definetly be a disastrous or rather should i say, a ponze schematic act that could be considered so to say. Indeed Mr Cose, you speak very well of your expertise in such a brighter hue in expense of us. What we need is not your unsolicited advice but your sympathy and of your understanding. Hoping this unfortunate event will not fall in front of your own doorstep that could certainly be a rubbish karma which would defy your perplexed and insensitive mind and heart to its fullest limit.

Good noon. Here's the latest statement made by Mr Sandy Apo Nimna Cose regarding the Structural/Building Integrity of Eva's Hotel.

On the first hand, Eva's Hotel stood by on its own foundation incuring NO FINANCIAL BACK UPS or LOAN GRANTED BY ANY BANK hence materials used, made, exhausted are of standard quality, and perhaps of a superior quality unlike of the other establishment your trying to exemplify.

Secondly, the structural integrity of Eva's Hotel is way beyond reproach and it simply just happened certain provision of the New Building Code was never observed, obscured, and certainly obstucted and by that simple term - SOMEONE is at fault here. Now the question is who?

Thirdly, CARWILL, being the constructor of KDCI, has to change from its former registered name but leaving the same incorporators, staff, ETC. And continuing for the PHASE 2 - it takes a di**it act to actually know of why one has to undergo such an act and its simply because they're trying to evade, deter, and escape certain erroneous acts which they have willfully committed and no further charges may they face in the future.

Fourth, your statement falls under preposterous allegation. If by truth, Eva's Hotel was made under CHEAP materials - how come you dont even have your own HOTEL. Being cheap means its readily afforded by anyone, much less than by you Mr Cose.

Lastly, your statement comes with such maligning intent to ruin the repuatation of Eva's Hotel. Please don't litter your garbages on our own backyard, your history of work will all speak under that condition. Is that a promotional stunt to advertise your company in our expense - Please SPARE US! And if so, why for a simple regulation and directive of the building code was not being followed. Is that the new term FAITHFULLY compliant means? Now that makes a big difference, don't you think?

PS. Eva's Hotel is one of the stock holder of KDCI.

Official Statement from the Management (Eva's Hotel)

After the first earthquake on October 16, 2019, the Management immediately sought the help of its structural engineers to inspect the Hotel and ensure its safety. Minor damages were reported and the engineers issued a certification on October 19, 2019 that it is structurally sound. However, the Management deemed it best to suspend the Hotel and Commercial Operations in the affected areas while retrofitting and repair works were made. On October 21, 2019, such certification was submitted to the City Building Official. At the outset, we have also asked for the aid and advice of the City Government to assist us with the assessment of the building.

The City Government conducted its inspection on October 22, 2019, 6 days after the first major earthquake. Subsequently, an Order was issued dated October 25, 2019 that the building was safe to occupy except for some restricted areas which were then specified in the same document. The Management religiously followed all of the instructions therein.

We would also like to clear out the issue that our building has long been condemned. We have not received any notice of condemnation nor were the building's permits questioned in its entire operation. We would like to humbly appeal to the people who spread this issue in the wake of this devastating calamity, to please spare us from the false information.

Thus, from October 16, 2019 to October 29, 2019 and until today, the Management has been closely monitoring the repairs and is in constant communication with the engineers.

Safety is our utmost priority. AS OF THIS WRITING and after our INITIAL assessment, no occupants, guests, hotel staff and workers were reported to have been injured or missing. NO CASUALTIES were reported to the Hotel Management. Rest assured that the Management is constantly assessing the area. We are CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS of investigating the incident.

We are with the people of Kidapawan and all the affected areas in Mindanao in this heartbreaking event. We are most especially imploring your help through prayers. We did not just lose a building, but also our HOME.

And in this trying times, we're asking for your prayers. For after all, Kidapawan's fortress had fallen and so is the pride we ones been proud of, had been gone but GOD is always good and GOD will pave a way to the betterment of everyone which had been stricken by this calamity.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all our friends, clientele, patrons for the recognition bestowed upon Eva's Hotel yesterday evening at The Pavillion, Kidapawan City.

We're being humbled to receive such recognition but also, it inspires us to do better, for we truly believe, that's what Kidapawan, ultimately deserves.
