📌 Position Summary
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, ensuring compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage sensitive data with discretion.

🔶 Key Responsibilities🔶

✅ Process payroll for all employees (exempt, non-exempt) using automated systems
✅ Validate timesheets, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
✅ Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., tax filings, wage garnishments, government contributions)
✅ Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation
✅ Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll-related audits and reconciliations
✅ Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and audit teams
✅ Address employee inquiries regarding compensation, deductions, and benefits
✅ Support year-end processes including tax reporting and issuance of statutory forms (e.g., BIR Form 2316 in PH context)
