Na mas gusto ko siyang takbuhan dahil sa lansanga’y pagal na ang mga paa. Nanghihigop pailalim ang pakikipagsapalaran. Naninikil ng hininga kung subukan kong umalpas at lumaban.

Mas mabuti na ang naglalakihang alon kaysa sa paglipas ng panahon. Mas ramdam ko ang pag-usad kahit palutang-lutang. Pakiramdam ko’y bahagi ako ng kung anoman; ang pagsanib sa katawang-tubig ay may kahulugan.

Paano ko ba sasabihin sa dagat na nalulunod na ako sa lupa? Makikinig kaya siya? Aapaw marahil ang tubig-alat, pupunuin ng panaghoy. Hindi talaga ako marunong lumangoy.
