Protektahan ang sarili laban sa init

1. Manatili sa loob ng bahay hangga’t maaari. Kung walang air conditioning, manatili sa pinakamababang palapag na hindi direktang nasisikatan ng araw.

2. Magsuot ng magagaan at light colored n damit. Ang mapuputing kulay ay tumutulong magreflect ng init ng araw.

3. Regular na uminom ng maraming tubig. Kailangan ng katawan na manatiling malamig.

4. Ang tubig ang pinakaligtas na inumin kapag may matinding init. Iwasan ang pag-inom ng alak dahil nakakapagpatuyo ito ng katawan (dehydration).

5. Kumain ng kaunti ngunit mas madalas. Iwasan ang pagkaing mataas sa protina dahil maaari itong magpataas ng init sa katawan.
